Automotive retail runs on systems built for a different era. Dealerships lose revenue and customer trust every single day to missed calls, slow manual processes, and a dozen disconnected tools that do not talk to each other. Nobody has built the operating system that ties it all together.
We are. CARA8 is building the dealer OS: the AI-native layer that runs how a modern dealership communicates, sells, and serves — from the first inbound call to after-sales. We are already live with paying dealer groups, and we are at the moment where the foundation we build now decides whether we define this category or watch someone else do it.
We are looking for a Founding Engineer to build that foundation with us.
This is not a feature on a roadmap. You will help decide what the dealer OS actually is: the architecture, the AI systems beneath it, and how it scales from our first dealers to hundreds.
You will work directly with the founders, own the core of the product end to end, and put what you build into real dealerships where it has to work the first time, every time. The systems you own are the systems dealers run their business on. That's the weight of the role — and the point of it.

You will own the engine of the dealer OS.
